Four employees from Röchling Industrial Lützen took part in the 2026 Wings for Life World Run and covered around 66 kilometers together in support of a good cause.

The Wings for Life World Run is considered the largest running event in the world. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people across the globe start running simultaneously to raise funds for spinal cord research. What makes the event unique is that there is no traditional finish line. Instead, participants are pursued by a so-called “Catcher Car,” which ends their race once it catches up with them. The event is held under the motto: “Running for those who can’t.”

The team from Lützen also supported the initiative with great dedication. Together, the four participants covered around 66 kilometers. In addition, Röchling Industrial Lützen sponsored all signposts along the race route, helping to support the organization of the event.

“The Wings for Life World Run combines physical activity with an important social cause. We are pleased that our employees support this initiative and represented us at the event,” says Dirk Galler, Managing Director of Röchling Industrial Lützen. “We would like to thank all participants for their dedication and commitment to this worthy cause.”
