Compared to unfilled Sustarin® C, Sustarin® C GF 25 is characterised above all by its increased rigidity and higher dimensional stability. The glass fibre-reinforced material is therefore particularly suitable for applications that require low deformation of the material under mechanical load, even at elevated temperatures of up to 100°C and long load durations. Sliding applications are not recommended, as the glass fibres are abrasive to most mating materials, including steel.
