The addition of solid lubricant (PTFE) gives the material excellent tribological properties (low wear and low coefficient of friction) in many sliding applications. SustaPEEK GLD 140 FG is suitable for direct contact with foodstuffs in accordance with FDA and EU regulations and is therefore ideal for applications in food processing, especially at high temperatures where the use of standard plastics such as PE or POM is not possible.
