Tough and vibration-damping for use under extreme mechanical stress
Sustamid® 6 G PD 140 blue is a modified polyamide with particularly high toughness and improved energy absorption capacity. Compared to type 120, it has a softer material behavior with a high load-bearing capacity. Developed for use in pile driver systems, it is used as a pile driver lining. There it acts as a damping buffer between the machine and pile, protects the components and significantly reduces noise during the pile driving process.
