Production facilities for the processing of meat, fish and poultry frequently consist of a large number of systems and components. Autoclaving plays an important role in the production of food. Tins are heated to up to 135° under steam and pressure, giving the food a shelf life of several years. In the autoclave the tins stand on heat-resistant and dimensionally stable perforated layers made of our material Polystone® P SSAG. Slide profiles for conveyor systems and intralogistics
Extruded and milled slide profiles made of Polystone® M support reducing the energy required to drive conveyor systems in meat, fish and poultry processing and help to improve process stability. Conveyor systems used in fish processing are designed with slide rails made of Polystone® D (PE-HMW). The material is suitable for direct contact with food, is easy to clean and, thanks to its excellent sliding ability, enhances the efficiency of conveyors.
