You may withdraw this consent at any time.

Disclosure of personal data to third parties

As a rule, we do not pass on information to third parties. In order to process contact enquiries using contact forms on the website, however, enquiries may be forwarded to service providers/cooperation partners or third parties. Use of cookies:

This website uses the following types of cookies, and the scope and function of these cookies are explained below:

–             Transient cookies (see a)

–             Persistent cookies (see b).

a)            Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. They include, in particular, session cookies. Session cookies store a session identifier that can be used to assign various inquiries from your browser during the shared session. This allows your computer to be recognized when it returns to the website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.

b)           Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified time period, which can vary depending on the cookie. You can delete these cookies in the security settings of your browser at any time.

You can configure your browser setting based on your preferences and refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies, for example, but please be aware that you might not be able to use all the functions of this website.

We use cookies to identify you on return visits if you have an account with us. Otherwise, you would have to log in again each time you visit.

The flash cookies in use here are not captured in your browser, but rather in your flash plug-in. We also use HTML5 storage objects, which are stored on your device. These storage objects store the required data regardless of your browser and do not have an automatic expiration date. If you do not want flash cookies processing, you can install an appropriate addon for your browser. The use of HTML5 storage objects may prevent you from turning on privacy mode in your browser. We also recommend that you regularly delete your cookies and browser history manually.

The collected information may include a visitor’s IP address, operating system, browser ID, browsing activity and other information. See the scope of data collected by Piwik PRO.

We calculate metrics like bounce rate, page views, sessions and the like to understand how our website/app is used. We may also create visitors’ profiles based on browsing history to analyze visitor behavior, show personalized content and run online campaigns.

We host our solution on Microsoft Azure in Germany, and the data is stored for 25 months.

The purpose of data processing: analytics and conversion tracking based on consent. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR.

Piwik PRO does not send the data about you to any other sub-processors or third parties and does not use it for its own purposes. For more, read Piwik PRO’s privacy policy.

YouTube

To incorporate videos, we use a YouTube plugin operated by YouTube, LLC, based at 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

If you access one of our YouTube-enabled sites, the YouTube server will be informed about which page you have visited. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.

You will find more information about the collection and use of your data by Google at www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy under the section about data privacy.

Contact

You can contact our company’s data privacy officer at data-privacy(at)roechling.com or at roechling(at)team-datenschutz.com for matters addressed exclusively to the company’s data privacy officer. If you have any problems, questions, or suggestions, you can also send an email to communications(at)roechling-plastics.com. Newsletter

We need your consent to subscribe to our newsletter, which we will use to notify you about our latest interesting offers. The goods and services advertised are specified in the declaration of consent.

We use the double opt-in method to register for the newsletter in cases of interested persons who are not existing customers. This means that after you have registered, we will send an e-mail to the specified e-mail address and ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not confirm your registration within 24 hours, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. We also store your IP addresses and the time of your registration and confirmation. The purpose of this is to confirm your registration and, if necessary, to inform you about the possible misuse of your personal data.

The only requirement for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address. Any additional, separately marked data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. After you have confirmed your registration, we will save your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The legal basis is the first sentence under item a) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR.

You can withdraw your consent to the sending of the newsletter and unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. You can withdraw your consent by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter e-mail, using this form on the website, by sending an e-mail to data-privacy(at)roechling.com, roechling(at)team-datenschutz.com, or by sending a message to the contact details stated on our 'Imprint' page.

Existing customers whose e-mail addresses we know and use for the business relationship receive our newsletter at (ir)regular intervals without registering (no double opt-in procedure). We also provide this for these groups of people in accordance with Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR within the scope of our legitimate interests in order to notify or inform them of interesting product updates, specifications, or comparable news. The aforementioned opportunity to unsubscribe from the newsletter applies equally for existing customers, who can also do so via the options specified above. However, doing so will only remove them from the mailing list for the newsletter. The e-mail address used will still be employed and stored for the ongoing business relationship.

We must point out that we analyze your user behavior when sending the newsletter. The e-mails we send contain web beacons or tracking pixels that represent one-pixel image files stored on our website. We link the data and the web beacons with your e-mail address and an individual ID for the analysis.
