Laminated Densified Wood

Lignostone® – il legno lamellare densificato direttamente dall'inventore. Costituito da faggio impiallacciato (Fagus sylvatica), unito con resine sintetiche indurite sotto pressione ad alta temperatura. Oltre 100 anni di esperienza. Progettato per offrire straordinarie proprietà meccaniche e isolanti, scientificamente comprovate.

Qualità dell’impiallacciatura

  • SQ = qualità standard – soddisfa i requisiti della norma IEC 61061
  • HQ = alta qualità – supera i requisiti della norma IEC 61061
  • TQ = qualità massima – supera di gran lunga i requisiti della norma IEC 61061

Chiave di identificazione

La qualità adatta per una determinata applicazione è determinata da:

Grado di compressione

L = 0.70 - 1.10 g/cm³
M = 1.10  - 1.30 g/cm³ 
H = 1.30 - 1.40 g/cm³

Struttura stratificata

I = stratificazione longitudinale
II = stratificazione incrociata
X = stratificazione obliqua

Spessore del rivestimento

1 = spessore dell’impiallacciatura < 2 mm
2 = spessore dell’impiallacciatura ≥ 2 mm

Application Examples

Supporti per serbatoi per metaniere

Lignostone® è un legno lamellare densificato, appositamente sviluppato per l’uso in metaniere e gassiere. Lignostone® coniuga un buon isolamento termico e un peso minimo con un’elevata resistenza meccanica e una temperatura di esercizio continua da -196 °C a +90 °C. Tra i componenti standard figurano ad esempio i supporti per serbatoi e unità di petroliere. Lignostone® è omologato da LR, BV, NKK, GL, DNV, M.W.Kellog, IHI e JMU.

Lignostone® cryogenic per impianti di propulsione a LNG

Lignostone® Transformerwood ha un’eccellente reputazione nell’industria internazionale dei trasformatori. Il materiale combina eccellenti proprietà isolanti elettriche e termiche con un ottimo assorbimento di olio, un peso ridotto ed un’elevata resistenza. Tra i componenti standard figurano anelli di pressione, piattaforme, travi a pressione, anelli di sollevamento, segmenti di pressione ed elementi di fissaggio.
