In January, Röchling Engineering Plastics SE & Co. KG with sites in Haren, Troisdorf and Dalum, and Röchling Sustaplast SE & Co. KG with sites in Lahnstein and Nentershausen were given new company names.
Röchling Engineering Plastics SE & Co. KG is now called Röchling Industrial SE & Co. KG and Röchling Sustaplast SE & Co. KG is now called Röchling Industrial Lahnstein SE & Co. KG. Other companies in the Industrial division have already been renamed or will soon be renamed.
"The reason for the name changes is to make the strategic orientation of all activities towards the industries in which we serve our customers more visible," says Franz Lübbers, CEO Röchling Industrial, explaining the decision to give all subsidiaries of the Industrial division uniform names worldwide. As a member of the Management Board, Lübbers is responsible for the Industrial division in the Röchling Group.
Uniform structure "Röchling Industrial + Site"
The more than 40 sites in the Industrial division worldwide will be renamed according to the uniform "Röchling Industrial + Site Name" structure. This applies to all locations except for Haren, where the site is not included in the new company name to identify it as the head company within the division. "On the one hand, we communicate our industrial orientation to the market and, on the other hand, we create a uniformity that further connects our locations and our employees," says Lübbers and adds: "Our experts at the sites are networked worldwide and make the most of the synergies of the Group. In this way, they have access to our comprehensive know-how regarding materials and applications across all locations. Our customers benefit because they can take advantage of the concentrated power of the division from anywhere, giving them a clear competitive edge."
Focus on customers
With its industrial orientation, Röchling Industrial places its customers even more strongly in the focus of its activities. "In the past, our material-related business units marketed their products and services independently of each other. With the introduction of industrial management more than three years ago, we decided not to think in a material-oriented way anymore, but from the industries and the perspective of our customers," says Lübbers.
As the only provider on the market, Röchling has unique expertise in the manufacture and application of thermoplastic and fibre-reinforced materials, which are manufactured using different technologies – from the micro-range to large-scale components and 3D printing, and across almost all industrial sectors. Lübbers: "In this way we can offer every customer in their specific industry the best possible product tailored to their specific problem."
