Polystone^® D is a high-molecular polyethylene (PE-HMW/PE 500) which is outstanding for its good mechanical properties such as scratch- and cut resistance and excellent acid resistance. The material is used in various branches of industry such as the foodstuffs and bottling industry or in medical technology.

Swimming pool gratings for overflow channels

Channel gratings made from Polystone^® D and machined specifically to suit the shape of your tank. They meet DIN 51097 class C requirements, are available in many colours and boast high resistance to fracture and corrosion, giving them a long life.

Seats and benches

Seats and benches made of Polystone^® D and machined to your particular requirements offer high resistance to chlorine, are scratch-resistant and have a very long life. They are also available in many different colours, lending your swimming baths a look all of its own.

ROV components

Remote Offshore Vehicles (ROVs) are continuous being designed to operate in ever increasing depths. To aid this, we supply numerous corrosion resistant, key components used to assemble an ROV. This includes the naturally buoyant Polystone^® P and Polystone^®D used for the side frames. While electronics boxes made from Sustarin^® C have replaced metallic components, thanks to the materials lower weight and corrosion resistance. With the same corrosion resistance, low weight and excellent impact resistance leading to the use of Sustamid^® 6G for thruster nozzles and ROV buckets.

Grills, manhole covers and frames

Our grills, manhole covers and frames are made from Polystone^® D. Great for high traffic areas as they are strong and durable, they are also corrosion free so suitable for wet or dry areas. As they are lightweight they are not problematic to lift for access.

Playpens and toddler slides

Playpens and toddler slides made of Polystone^® D are safe, hygienic and easy to clean, and hard-wearing.

Pool steps and access ramps

Custom made for your application Polystone^® D pool steps and access ramps are slip resistant, durable and available in single or dual colourways.

Slide rails

Conveyor systems used in fish processing are designed with slide rails made of Polystone^® D. The material is suitable for direct contact with food, is easy to clean and, thanks to its excellent sliding ability, enhances the efficiency of conveyors.
