Lamigamid® 1200

PA — PA 12 G

QR-Code

Characteristics

  • High impact strength even at low temperatures
  • Good wear resistance
  • Resistant to hydrolysis and chemicals

Application Examples

Door rollers

For many years, heavy-duty door rollers made of Lamigamid® materials (PA 6G) have been used in large (freight) lifts. All Lamigamid® materials have a high fatigue strength and good resilience. Their modulus of elasticity is significantly lower than that of steel or cast steel. The low modulus of elasticity has a positive effect on heavily stressed running wheels by reducing contact loads. Various plastics having different properties are available for heavy-duty door rollers BU1:Door rollers made of Lamigamid® available in many different diameters and with built-in bearings on request BU 2: Construction view with heavy-duty door rollers made of Lamigamid® in various diameters Properties: High fatigue strengthGood resilienceLow moduli of elasticity

Gears, worm gears and sprockets

Gears, worm gears and sprockets made from our materials have been used successfully in many machines and systems for many years. The use of technical plastics significantly reduces cost. Less downtime due to maintenance and longer service lives of all components is just as beneficial as the low lubricant requirements and low vibration and noise.

Agitator paddles made of Lamigamid® 300

Agitator paddles made of Lamigamid® 300 have good wear and strength properties because of the tough material formulations. Despite its distinct material toughness, the material has a high flow resistance, i.e. it remains dimensionally stable even at higher loads. Furthermore, Lamigamid® 300 is resistant to the usual liquids used in biogas plants. We can produce agitator paddles in large dimensions of more than 3000mm.

Castors

Castors -Castors made of our materials Sustamid® 6G and Lamigamid® machined within tight tolerances are subject to less wear than steel because of their excellent abrasion resistance and high mechanical strength and toughness, are low-maintenance and thus make for a very long servicelife. We would be happy to advise and support you in selecting materials, designing and performing stress computations.
