Shared direction for sustainable growth
Following a joint kick-off event in Leipzig, the main conference day focused on key topics within the Business Unit. In addition to an overview of current developments, the MC sites presented their most important highlights.

The conference also featured intensive discussions on technological advancement. During a Technology Roadmap workshop, participants explored future requirements and priorities. “The Technology Roadmap defines clear strategic objectives that help focus on relevant and future-oriented topics. It is also the foundation for effective organizational alignment,” explained Axel Höfter, General Manager Corporate R&D, and Dietmar Telgenkämper, Global Technical Director Machined Components.

In addition, key performance indicators, efficient resource allocation, and the product portfolio were reviewed to assess existing products and identify future growth opportunities. Another focus area was the standardization of visit reports to enable more structured documentation of site visits and facilitate knowledge sharing across locations. Workplace safety was also part of the conference agenda, underlining the importance of a sustainable and safe working environment.

The importance of participating in KnowBe4 training courses was also emphasized to ensure that all employees are thoroughly educated and that phishing attacks and social engineering attempts have no chance of succeeding at Röchling. “We expect a 100 percent participation rate from all our sites,” emphasized Ansgar Robbe, Global Commercial Director Machined Components.

Insights from the Lützen Site
On the third day, participants visited the Lützen site. During a tour of the machining facility, they gained insights into local processes and technologies, exchanged ideas with colleagues on site, and explored opportunities to leverage synergies and further strengthen collaboration.
