Maywoflamm® ABS ECE lightweight is a closed-cell foamed ABS material for applications where low weight and high mechanical stability are essential. With a density of 0.92 g/cm³, it is more than 20% lighter than comparable compact ABS sheets, enabling material savings and easier handling. The material combines low weight with high rigidity, toughness, and strength, making it ideal for weight-optimized components in tansportation and bus construction. It also meets the fire protection of ECE 118, Annexes 6, 7 and 8.

With Maywoflamm ABS ECE Lightweight, Röchling Industrial provides an innovative lightweight solution for the transportation and bus industry, combining reduced weight with outstanding performance.
