PES
Amorphous High Performance Material
Due to its transparency, Polyethersulphone, abbreviated as PESU instead of PES according to the latest standards, is suitable for applications such as sight glasses and media-carrying components in laboratories. Compared to Polysulphone (PSU), the plastic has a glass transition temperature that is 35°C higher at 225°C and thus significantly higher strength in the temperature range between 160 and 190°C. Its stress crack sensitivity is lower than that of PC. Its amber transparency is higher than that of PEI, but lower than that of PSU.
