The addition of 40 percent glass fiber by weight increases the mechanical strength and stiffness compared to unfilled PPS across the entire application temperature range. At the same time, the coefficient of thermal expansion is lower. Sustatron PPS GF40 is therefore particularly suitable for mechanically highly stressed, very dimensionally stable components, especially at temperatures above the glass transition temperature (90°C).
