EcoVadis Certifications at Röchling Medical
Since March 2025, all three German sites and both U.S. sites of Röchling Medical have been EcoVadis rated. This highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, responsible corporate governance, and ethical business practices.
EcoVadis Certifications at Röchling Medical’s Global Sites
Brensbach and Neuhaus, Germany
The Brensbach site was once again awarded the Silver Medal at the beginning of 2024 – as was the Neuhaus am Rennweg site. Both locations rank among the top 15% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide, across all industries.
Waldachtal, Germany
The Waldachtal site has once again successfully completed an EcoVadis sustainability assessment in May 2025.
Rochester, USA
The Rochester site in the United States was also newly certified and received a Bronze Medal in the most recent assessment.
Lancaster, USA
The Lancaster site in the US successfully completed an EcoVadis sustainability assessment in March 2025.
All German and US sites of Röchling Medical are now EcoVadis rated.
EcoVadis Assessment Criteria
The EcoVadis assessment is based on an internationally recognized sustainability rating system. Four key areas are evaluated:
- Environment
- Labor & Human Rights
- Ethics
- Sustainable Procurement
A company’s performance is assessed in comparison to all organizations rated by EcoVadis worldwide within the past twelve months—regardless of industry or company size. Based on this comparison, a percentile ranking is determined, which is used to award medals (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum).
For Röchling Medical, the EcoVadis certification is a valuable tool for regularly evaluating its sustainability performance and identifying targeted opportunities for improvement.
