Active Air Blinds
Our Active Air Blinds (AAB) optimize aerodynamics by precisely controlling airflow at the vehicle front. When closed, the engine compartment is sealed off, reducing drag, lowering emissions, and allowing key components to warm up faster.
Instead of individual flaps, AAB uses a textile blind that can be continuously opened and closed—similar to a roller blind. The system is fully integrated, exceptionally lightweight and space-saving, and ensures maximum efficiency with minimal leakage. Depending on the vehicle concept, movement can be horizontal or vertical.
