Laminated Densified Wood

Lignostone® - laminated densified wood directly from the inventor. Consisting of veneers of the common beech (Fagus sylvatica) bonded using curable synthetic resins in conjunction with pressure and heat. More than 100 years of experience. For exceptional and scientifically proven mechanical and isolating properties.

  • resistance to abrasion and wear
  • low coefficient of sliding friction
  • low specific weight
  • very good oil absorption

Veneer quality

  • SQ = Standard quality - Fulfills the requirements of IEC 61061
  • HQ = High Quality - Surpasses the requirements of IEC 61061
  • TQ = Top Quality - Surpasses by far the requirements of IEC 61061

Key to identification

The required grade for a specific application is defined by

Densification symbols

L = 0.70 - 1.10 g/cm³
M = 1.10  - 1.30 g/cm³ 
H = 1.30 - 1.40 g/cm³

Lamination

I= parallel
II= crosswise
X= tangential

Veneer thickness

1 = veneers < 2 mm
2 = veneers ≥ 2 mm

Wsporniki zbiornika dla transportowców LNG

Lignostone® to laminowane drewno utwardzone o wyjątkowych właściwościach, dzięki czemu idealnie nadaje się na wsporniki zbiornika (zdjęcie), kliny, bloki stałe i bloki ślizgowe w statkach do transportu LNG. Niska przewodność cieplna, niska masa, niski współczynnik tarcia i odporność na duże obciążenia mechaniczne to tylko niektóre z zalet materiału Lignostone®. Ten materiał nadaje się również do pracy w środowiskach o temperaturze od -196°C do +90°C (-320°F do 194°F). Lignostone® został zatwierdzony przez LR, BV, NKK, GL, DNV, M.W.Kellog, IHI i JMU. Możesz mieć pewność doskonałej jakości.
