Precision components from metal powders

Process

Similar to the a powder-bed fusion process, a metal powder is distributed in thin layer across the print bed. A high-powered laser scans the surface of the metal powder and raises the temperature of the metal particles to above the melting point, fusing the material together on a molecular level.
