During their training, our trainees pass through various specialist departments, are integrated into practical work processes, are competently supervised by qualified instructors and are supported in their professional and personal development during their assignments.
In our training workshop, young colleagues complete their basic technical training on more than 250 square meters and can try their hand at the lathe, pillar drilling machine and marking plate. Depending on their grade point average, we guarantee our trainees permanent employment.
We offer university graduates an entry-level position as trainees: In our 18-month trainee program, we prepare young engineering talent for their future area of responsibility at Röchling Automotive.
In the process, they gain a practical overview of structures, processes, interfaces, and framework conditions within Röchling Automotive and experience from day one the role that networked thinking and working plays in the company.
For this reason, our trainees pass through all project-relevant specialist areas, including a stay at one of our foreign locations.
In addition, the program aims to ensure that trainees are trained in key skills such as project management and intercultural communication.

The application process

You decide on the type and content of your application yourself. Please keep in mind, however, that at this point we can only get an initial impression from your application documents. The better you succeed in presenting yourself authentically, the greater the chance of meeting you in person.
Once we have received your application, we will send you a confirmation, which will also include the contact details of your contact person for any queries you may have. As a general rule, we check each incoming application individually for suitability for the position for which you have applied. At the same time, however, we also look to see whether there may be other opportunities within our company that could be an even better fit for you and your resume. We can usually give you initial feedback within a week. If it takes longer, you will receive an interim response.

We decide on a case-by-case basis whether to start with a telephone interview, a virtual meeting (usually via Microsoft Teams), or a visit to our offices in Worms. The purpose of these meetings is to get to know you better and to be able to give you insights into the working world of Röchling and the task at hand. Now we are just before the finish line. In the contract meeting, which usually always takes place in person at our company, an HR Business Partner is also in the round alongside colleagues from your future team to discuss our proposal for the employment contract with you. Especially when you are just starting your professional life, there are usually many questions. You can ask them here and get a competent answer right away. Your new colleagues from the specialist team will give you some initial advice about your start and the familiarization phase. Of course, any questions that have arisen for you during the application process can also be clarified here.
On your first day of work, please report to the gate, from where the personnel department will then be informed to pick you up. After a brief welcome and introduction, you will be given all the necessary documents for your first day at work (welcome folder, time card). You will then be shown the company presentation for an initial overview. In addition, all safety-relevant instructions including a final test will be made with you.
Afterwards, your supervisor will pick you up and accompany you to your future workplace. There you will get to know all your other colleagues, who will then introduce you to all the important work processes in accordance with the familiarization plan that has been drawn up. During the lunch break, you and your colleagues can get to know each other further over a free lunch.
