Sustarin® C grey

The construction material for many applications

Sustarin® C is the brand name for semi-finished products and profiles made from polyacetal copolymer. The special feature of Sustarin® C is the ideal combination of strength, rigidity, and toughness, which is due to the structure of the product. Due to its high crystallinity, Sustarin® C is stiffer and stronger than other thermoplastics, especially in the temperature range of -50°C bis +100°C.

Elementy pojazdów ROV

Zdalnie kierowane pojazdy podwodne (ROV) projektuje się do pracy ciągłej na coraz większych głębokościach. Aby to ułatwić, dostarczamy wiele odpornych na korozję, kluczowych komponentów stosowanych w pojazdach ROV. Obejmuje to tworzywa Polystone® P (PP) i Polystone® D (PE-HMW), które cechuje naturalna wyporność i które stosuje się w ramach bocznych. Skrzynki z materiału SUSTARIN C (POM-C) zastąpiły elementy metalowe dzięki mniejszej masie i odporności na korozję. Zaślepki do zastosowań podmorskich typu Christmas Tree

Podczas wiercenia delikatna głowica wiertnicy jest zakryta osłoną, którą należy zdjąć przed montażem/po usunięciu z rurociągu podmorskiego. Ponieważ są one instalowane za pośrednictwem pojazdów ROV, ich masa ma kluczowe znaczenie. Dzięki tworzywom termoplastycznym, takim jak SUSTARIN C (POM-C), SUSTAPVDF i SUSTAPEEK, można znacznie zmniejszyć masę w porównaniu z tradycyjnymi elementami metalowymi.
