Plastic-Compatible Construction

Send us the specific requirements relating to your product. The earlier that we are involved in the product development process, the more effectively our developers will be able to apply their know-how in order to ensure that the components are designed in a way that guarantees plastic compatibility. The design process involves the use of PTC Creo. Extensive simulations are carried out prior to the tools being constructed in order to optimize aspects such as wall thickness, undercuts and radii as early as possible:

  • Linear and non-linear FEM simulations with PTC Creo Simulate Advanced
  • Determination of mechanical material properties in tensile test using injection molded  shoulder-end tensile specimens for linear and non-linear FEM simulations
  • Assessment of plastic-compatible constructions in terms of producibility and cost-effectiveness using an injection molding simulation via Moldex.
