Leapmotor International selects Röchling Automotive for European vehicle programs

  • The scope of supply includes active aerodynamics, exterior and airflow management components

Mannheim, 28. July 2026 | Röchling Automotive has been nominated by Leapmotor International for their future vehicle programs in Europe. Production will take place at Röchling Automotive's plant in Araia, Spain, and will include various active aerodynamics, exterior and airflow management components for Leapmotor’s upcoming vehicle rollouts across Europe.

The new contracts build on the long-standing technical cooperation between Röchling Automotive and Leapmotor since 2019. This collaboration has established a strong engineering basis for the localized production support for Leapmotor’s European market activities. “Leapmotor knows our engineering and production capabilities from our successful cooperation in China," says Martin Schüler, CEO of Röchling Automotive. "We are pleased that this trust now carries into Europe, where we will support Leapmotor International with locally produced aerodynamic and air-water separation components for its European vehicle programs."

The contracts underline Röchling Automotive’s ability to support international OEMs as they expand into Europe and localize vehicle programs in the region. Its global engineering and production experience, combined with a broad European manufacturing network, enables Röchling Automotive to support customers from development through regional series production.
