The range of different types of technology used at the company will enable you to acquire extensive knowledge and skills in various different areas. The majority of our trainees and dual education students stay on with the company and hence contribute to the continuous enhancement of the company and the development of valuable experience. We are particularly proud of the fact that young women and former trainees hold management positions at our company.

Ensuring that our employees receive advanced and further training is very important to us. We therefore provide our employees with the opportunity to attend presentations, seminars and training courses. Our training program also includes management training, sales coaching and internal English language courses. We have also introduced employee presentations to ensure that we can all benefit from the wealth of experience and knowledge built up by our longstanding colleagues. As such, practical experience is shared and passed on to other team members in the form of presentations.

As part of our employee suggestion scheme, every employee has the opportunity to turn their ideas into reality and receive a bonus in return for contributing suggestions for improvements.

  • Röchling in Waldachtal offers performance-related pay in accordance with the collective agreement of the chemicals industry. It also includes other employee benefits such as vacation pay and Christmas bonuses, a collectively agreed pension scheme and the provision of 30 days’ leave a year.
  • We are particularly proud of our staff canteen. We provide our employees with the choice of two different menus and an impressive salad buffet every single day. 
  • Our employees’ health is very important to us, which is why we have introduced an occupational health management scheme. The following campaigns and activities are included in this: health day, fruit promotions, health-related presentations and classes, such as the stress check or after-work cooking. It is very important to us to ensure that our employees feel happy at work. Many of our employees are able to look out onto green open spaces from their bright and friendly workplaces and work in a location that others flock to on vacation.
  • We are a stable family-owned company with a strong focus on sustainability and, alongside daily operations, offer our employees the opportunity to gain a wider understanding of the plastics industry and hence make some important contacts by visiting partner companies and attending conferences and trade fairs.
  • Röchling Medical Waldachtal AG provides colleagues with plenty of opportunities to see each other and socialize outside of work, for example at the annual summer party, the Christmas party which always has some fun surprises in store or football tournaments with workmates. This allows people to see a different side to their colleagues.
  • Social projects are also very important to us. We have been taking part in the “Weihnachtspäckchen für Kinder in Not” (“Christmas Parcels for Children in Need”) campaign since 2014. Under the patronage of the Federal Minister for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, parcels are sent to children in Eastern Europe to bring them a little bit of Christmas cheer. We are keen to ensure that we continue to step up our social commitments and support people who are less fortunate.
