Simulation

Process simulation is the focus of modern injection molding technology. Data is collected that primarily sheds light on feasibility, load pressure, and temperature. Simulation is an important instrument of component engineering. The position of the feed points significantly influences the overall design. During simulation, these become visible and can be adjusted accordingly. In addition, component delays and cooling rates can be predicted. Sophisticated cooling technology can reduce cycle times and enormously influence the pricing of a part. The simulated fiber orientation is also highly significant as it provides insights into the mechanical behavior of the component.
Röchling Technical Parts uses special simulation software, which can be customized to the application area.
The following experiments/observations can be made in-house:
- Load studies
- Cooling period experiments
- Heat accumulation
- Pressure distribution
- Fiber orientation
- Bonding lines
- Tool ventilation
Simulation results are indispensable for tool design and the reliable functioning of the component.
