The Röchling Technical Parts Group is made up of four locations at which highly complex plastic parts and assembled units for various industries are manufactured using injection molding processes. With more than 400 employees, the Group generates sales of nearly EUR 40 million.

While the Erfurt location is specialized in the production of smart card bodies, the three other sites’ expertise lies in hybrid technology and the processing of engineering plastics. The main area of application currently comprises components for electronic bonding technology in automobiles.

More than 130 injection molding machines with a clamping force ranging from 250 to 5,000 kN are available within the Röchling Technical Parts Group.

For the production of metal-plastic composites (hybrid components), highly automated manufacturing cells are made available or built, depending on the scope of application. At the Weidenberg location, for example, more than 100 million complex components are produced each year using robotic systems. The high quality standard is attained by using fast-imaging camera systems with correspondingly fast data processing. The use of modern CAQ systems also assures a consistently high quality level.

In addition to traditional injection molding technology, state-of-the-art joining processes and laser technologies are offered as well.

The project engineers develop processes and production systems according to the particular customer requirements.

Within the Röchling Technical Parts Group, complex molds can be constructed. Moreover, collaborations take place with highly specialized mold manufacturers to implement innovative solutions.

Röchling SGT Spritzgießtechnik in Weidenberg

The production facility of Röchling SGT Spritzgießtechnik GmbH in Weidenberg stands for highly automated injection molding manufacturing processes at a volume of up to over 100 million components per year.Electrical injection molding machines without tie bars are predominantly used to accommodate complex robotics. Fast-imaging camera systems ensure the highest level of quality.The Weidenberg location is certified in accordance with DIN ISO 16949.Recently, an additional 1,500 square meters of production space were created due to the high degree of utilization. Furthermore, subcontracting in Kraslice (Czech Republic) is available as well. Customers are supported by the know-how of 100 experienced employees.

Röchling Technical Parts in Mainburg

At the Röchling Technical Parts KG Mainburg plant, more than 40 injection molding machines with a clamping force ranging from 250 to 5,000 kN are in operation. The following processes are used:

• plastic-metal hybrids
• laser imaging
• high-quality parts with class A surfaces
• punching/injection molding
• component simulation

The plant is certified in accordance with VDA 6.0. The project team is comprised of several project specialists for the calculation of costs and the realization of highly technical components.

CircleSmartCard GmbH in Erfurt produces smart card bodies and information carriers made of thermoplastic materials to the highest technical standard. These are supplied to the entire global market. Röchling Oertl Kunststofftechnik in Brensbach

The production facility in Brensbach has about 150 employees and is specialized in the manufacture of technical plastic parts for customers in the medical, pharmaceutical and health care market.

Röchling Oertl Kunststofftechnik GmbH produces on 55 injection molding machines with forces between 35 tons and 220 tons.

The company is specialized in the manufacture of technically high-quality molds and injection molded plastic components. Röchling Oertl Kunststofftechnik offers a one-shop tool shop for injection molds, injection molding and assembly.

The range of used resins reaches from all technical plastics to standards which are reinforced or unreinforced like PS, ABS, POM, PP, PE, PC, PA, PSU, PBTP and also a variety of elastomerics.

In addition to automatic production lines, special solutions such as complex 2K-injection molding technologies are also offered.

With approx. 30 employees Röchling Oertl Kunststofftechnik GmbH develops and constructs tools for injection molding up to a size of 1000 x 1200 mm.

Röchling Oertl Kunststofftechnik constructs 2-K tools, high-precision injection molds, hot runner molds, injection compression molds and molds for special solutions.
