Röchling Expands Plastics Activities and Acquires Remaining Half-Share in Seeber Belgium
Mannheim (Germany), May 5, 2005 – The Mannheim-based Röchling Group has acquired the 50% share in Seeber Belgium N.V. that was held by its joint venture partner Denderland Martin N.V. Non-disclosure of the purchase price was agreed.
“The acquisition is a result of the Röchling Group’s consistent alignment as a plastics group,” said the Group’s COO, Burckhard Frank. “Our aim is to expand the location further by supplying automobile manufacturers in Belgium, northern France and the UK and to achieve further growth.”
In 2004, Seeber Belgium sales totaled EUR 33 million with 151 employees. Customers include carmakers Opel, Ford, Land Rover and Volvo
