Chemical resistance

Good resistance to:
diluted acids, alkaline solutions, petrol, oils, fats, alcohols, hot water and water vapour
Not resistant to:
polar solvents, esters, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons, benzene
Stress crack formation:
possible in some media! (e.g. cooling lubricant)

 

Field of application

Whenever high service temperatures and the ability to sterilise in steam are required.
