Durstone® Threaded rods and nuts

Durostone® the fibrereinforced plastic from Röchling is finding new applications in the construction of industrial plant. Durostone® consists of epoxy or vinylester resin reinforced fabric and mat.

The advantages of Durostone® over steel are:

EPR S5/EPR S7

High quality grade for use in chemical and maritime applications; particularly resistant to aggressive fluids – resists temperatures up to 180 °C.

EPR S1/EPM 203

Standard grade for use electrical, maritime and mechanical applications; resists temperatures up to 180 °C.

VEG-Z/VEM

Special quality for use when mechanical requirements are less critical. The threaded rods grade, VEG-Z, is produced from pultruded sections of unidirectional reinforced vinylester resin. Grade for use in chemical applications.
