At the Worms, Germany development site the focus is on;

This includes products such as body undershields, wheel arch liners and controllable air ducts.
In order to shorten development times software for aerodynamics simulation, an acoustics laboratory, thermal measurement technology and special vehicle test tracks are used.
New materials or combinations of materials are examined regarding their phyical, chemical and acoustical properties. Samples and prototypes run through various tests and measurements before, finally, driving tests show if the components can meet the demands of tough environmental conditions.
