One particular product from Röchling Automotive makes an extremely important contribution when it comes to aerodynamics: controllable air guides. If the engine does not require cooling, closed flaps prevent air from flowing through the engine compartment. The drag coefficient is reduced as a result. In addition to the controllable air guides, Röchling Automotive also develops and manufactures various deflectors which are designed to purposely direct air in a direction that is aerodynamically favorable.
